Another fan question

What do people think - powerful enough ? Saw the bigger model recommended on here but it's gone up in price to closer to £70 so would rather spend £40 if it'll do the job.

it's a hard life if you don't weaken.

    It's 100 Watt output so it should be pretty good. I have a 50 W fan that I got for 20 quid from Debenhams and it is only just adequate - actually thinking of upgrading to a 100 W fan.

  • We use one of the 18" ones at our turbo sessions, it is more than up to the job for a room with 6-8 sweaty oiks in so the 14" should be fine on your own.

    Mine is around 180W... I have to wear my shades to stop my eyes watering! :wink:

    I just have a cheapy one from Argos - but it is on a stand. When I warm up - then I dont have it on at all, and as I get warmer I can start it and increase it, without getting off the bike. It'd be a pain to have to do that I reckon mid session.

    I am fine with it just cooling me rather than stopping me sweating completely.
