Really? I'll take 3.....0 -
I like the jersey, wouldnt go for the shorts, as I wear basic shorts under baggies, but the top I would defo wear! Ill order one when they come out.0

thats good then i sent him a mail with the forum link and hey presto we now know that they were already one step ahead of us good work BR!
one thing though as said before i like the top but is there any opportunity for some baggys?0 -
yeah the tops ok, think an unofficial Crud Catcher variety would be good though, i like the idea of classic quotes from the crud catcher being used on perhaps the sleeves. chuck a bit of pink in there to appease the pinkophiles.Fancy a brew?0
-
its OK, needs more bagy-ness, esp in the shorts, and perhaps a bit more spice......
i also think that some classic forum quotes would be good.I like bikes and stuff0 -

I love LYCRA, give it a go, so SEXY'Collapse the Light into Earth'0 -
the more i look at it the more it screams roadie. even the top, needs to be baggier and with long sleeves, i'd prefer a more DH look, not excessively though.Fancy a brew?0
-
yer a bit more baggy on all departments and i reckon maybe a slightly deeper blue? i agree that it does look very roadie like.0
-
Definatly not my style....I like cool looking streetwear hoodies. I'd wear the Bikeraider logo/motif on one if the other artwork/design was good.0
-
i know theres already an official BR design but if it was upto us what would we like to see on it? list what you would want....0
-
baggies instead of lycra, a more fr/am style jersey maybe 3/4 length arms, brighter colours0
-
I think something a bit looser (although I will still order the official jersey for the summer)
darker blue, WC livery somewhere in it. Crudcatcher quotes on the jersey somewhere (could even have 5 options of the funniest quotes by forumites)
For instance. there was a thread about helicopter tape, and a young lad was enquiring about it and he came out with the classic "We don't have a helicopter shop where I live" - you get the message
V-neck perhaps, something along the lines of a DH jersey?
Baggy shorts (Endura?)
As I mentioned before, this is copyright territory so we cant get too carried away chaps
This should reflect the fun side of the forum, ie crudcatcher etc
100% totally UNOFFICAL!0 -
i don't mind it but i would rather have this

this http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=30866
or this http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=24870
and for us MTB'ers baggy shorts0 -
The last top was nice, be cool in blue!0

The Big Cheese wrote:The last top was nice, be cool in blue!
agreed with that. blue body, white sleaves with bike radar in the middle0 -
the first one is pretty nice would be lovely with some colour in it though. the third one in brown is also rather nice too. longer sleeves though would be nice
something along the lines of this but in BR colours with some crud catcher style added

yer like the royal endura top! but i reckon blue strip's down the side with white body with dark blue BR logo in middle then the WC stripes on either each sleeve or right across the body then some quotes somewhere...0
-
Sorry Jay and Ric, I don't like any of those, they don't look particularly 'bikey', just misshapen t-shirts, plus I'd look really stupid riding along the towpath in a DH jersey .
I think a darker blue, like the colour of the banner, and some WCS stripes on the sleeves would be good, but I do quite like the 'official' effort.0 -
It is just a 1st design and im no designer as you can probably tell! but yer what are your thoughts?0 -
why would we have wc stripes on it?
also, that lycra one is ghey.0 -
dont need to have WC stripes on it but its been an idea froma few people, as i say its only the 1st design so keep yuor ideas coming in.
also does anyone know any good publishers who could produce the jerseys for us as bikeradar are very interested in it. (talking via email)0 -

Righto, I can do a professional proof when it's been finalised and I am less busy, end of the week probably.
I have done a fair few clothing design so can do it professionally and provide ready to go artwork.
Once it's been cleared by BR/designs approved happy days
I like the design above, but going down the bespoke cycling route, will bump up unit costs no end, so we are better off approaching Endura (who make retrobikes kit) and seeing if a relationship could be forged.
However, would need massive buy in from the BR community as you would need to order shite loads to make it worthwhile.
Sheeps - WC stripes are cool - fact0 -
sheepsteeth
I did think that, my bike's got WC stripes on it, but that's because it's a Boardman, and he won some World Championship. Seeing as there isn't a BR team, that wears the kit and has won any World Championships, I don't know if you could 'rightly' put WC stripes on it. But they look nice
Also, the official top wasn't really lycra, it wasn't baggy, I'll admit that, just a close fit as opposed to skin tight lycra though. (If the 'ghey' one you're talking about is jadamson's effort then apologies, but I can't see the pic as I'm at work)0 -
I think the design knocked up above is pretty good actually. I like it a lot.
The middle ground here is somewhere between 'roadie tight' and DH jersey. I/
.e., normally fit like a t-shirt.
WC stripes, you don't have to have taken part/won any world cups to have them on your jersey like Steve Peat.. LOL Are you impying we have to earn our strips Bails?
From an aesthetic perspective, they look good, and add a nice splash of colour!0 -
sheepsteeth wrote:if we are going for stripes, maybe these would be a good idea?
now that is gay - literally!!!0 -
The Big Cheese
Not saying we have to earn them ourselves but I see them like the gold stars you get on football kits to show the number of World Cups won. I'd think it was wierd if Wales suddenly put 4 gold stars on their football kit sleeves, and when you asked what they were for, you got told "each one represents a time we won the World Cup...except we've never actually won it"
Again though, they look good, so I'd like them.
I'm sure someone has won something while earing Endura clothing, so if they're made by Endura then that meets the criteria. And I'm sure the mags must write about World Champs all the time!0
