Bike position

I have had ongoing calf problems after taking a brake (for a month) from cycling and concentrating on a half marathon. Since returning I have been getting cramps in my left calf/foot/behind the knee area.

I am concentrating on my position, and it feels like i and putting more weight on my left side than my right. I would not know how to correct this, any ideas??

  • see a sports physio, a good one. Any asymmetric pain is a bad sign (unless you know the cause, like a tree sticking out of your leg, dog hanging off, chav with 2 by 4 etc.) and should really be checked rather than trained on as more often than not you compound the issue and end up having to take a long time off.
