well, we all know that the pilgrim loves them, but what about for us not fliping mortals....
well, my sister happens to be the same size as me.....
and the weird thing is.... i like them! they are great for riding! i love riding in jeans, but the flow-rida look tends to dissagree with chain rings and chains.......
seriously.. try it! for street blasts and mucking about, nothing compares!

right... i need to man up again.... where's my bovrill and oily bike parts....
I like bikes and stuff

Shorts, or 3/4 lengths, regardless of weather... I'll never wear skinny jeans/jeggings, or anything that would allow people to count the number of hairs on my nuts from 100 metres.. Not that I'm ashamed of my junk being on display, but because, as SS says, I have boll0cks. And ridiculously large thighs.

It's the first step to cross-dressing...

    wait, what...

    you wear your sisters clothes?

do you also borrow her underwear? don't answer that i don't want to know.

skinny jeans erm no, as mentioned by Stav83 i'd never get skinny jeans over my thighs, christ i'd need to talc up my calfs to get them things on.

but you know if you feel comfortable in them and don't mind the VPL (ask your sister how she copes) you can go ahead and knock yourself out.

About the slimmest cut you''ll find me in is straight leg. And that's only for pub wear. Boot cut or baggy thank you.

loose jeans for me, i like putting things in my pockets.

lawman you might pull Hayley Williams in your skinny jeans but trust me she'll be thinking of the punk at the SU bar in his baggy jeans. besides them skinny fit jeans are cut all wrong, they often don't go all the way up to the waist always hanging half way down the arse.

I bought my first pair of 'skinny' jeans a couple of weeks ago, I actually quite like them  Definitely not for MTBing though!
  • for me... straight leg jeans = skinny jeans. I wouldn't get my arms in skinny jeans

lol if i pulled hayley williams i think id die in shock

as for riding in skinnies, i find it all right tbh, not briiliant but bearable and no issues fo ripped jeans or looking like a chav with your trousers in your socks

I'd rather look like a chav than a ghey emo with a personality disorder!
  • Anyway, how does any cyclist fit into skinny jeans?

Surely you have to spend 15 years doing nothing more active than sneering to fit into a pair....

  • most of my jeans are skinny fit but now i'm taking the biking more serious i'm having "quad girth issues" with them. i like 501s for lounging bout in but a slimmer cut looks smarter on me imo. luckily levi do 511s which are slim fit so about halfway between straight and skinny. don't think ve got the genetics to get quads big enough to trouble that cut.
as for biking in skinnys tho - jesus, why make things harder for yourself? not only do you have to turn the pedals round but the jeans resist your every move too!
"scalare come se al grembo degli dei" (apologies to any Italain speakers if the grammar/spelling is off)
  • Skinny jeans are for hombres!!

Definitely NOT for me... I measured my thighs - 27'' around each one, lol. But I've only got a 30'' waist... I don't look as ridiculous as it sounds, honest!

But then, I'm very broad too - about a 46'' chest, I think... I must have the genetics to be a body-builder, lol.

So loose fit jeans all the way, baby! With some black boots, and a black hoody - look badass!

Emo's in super-tight ball restricting jeans can keep 'em!

I finally found a pair that sort-of fit (the lages fit, but are WAYYYYY too big at the waist) - some Fox baggies, but at £50 / pair, expensive! So I bought 2 pairs... They'll last another 5 years I reckon :D 8)
