All the bits I ordered today were in stock, must be just your luck.0
-
I ordered some tyres, then they said the supplier has ran out of stock aswell so been waiting a week or two, they're meant to have some in stock by late Jan so just waiting,0
-
Pretty much everything they SAY is in stock - IS in stock. You have to ignore it if it says (available within 2-7 days) though. That means they have to order it in and then it's up to their supplier.0
-
try ordering less popular items that nobody else wants...0
-
At least they're not as bad as Ribble. I filled in one of those 'notify me when it is in stock' requests in September, Still not in stock.0
-
i ordered a load of stuff, some said in stock but they were waiting then the things which were in stock were out of stock.
ordered pedals 2-7days its been longer than that now... closer to 3/4 weeks  still nothing.FCN: 5/6 Fixed Gear (quite rapid) in normal clothes and clips

We try and keep most 'regular' items in stock, unfortunately at peak times some items sell out and we rely on suppliers to have enough stock to fulfil orders. Our stock system is directly linked to the add to basket button you see on your screen and this replicates along with our server, we feel it offers one of the most up to the minute stock information systems out there.
As a guide to the terms used on those buttons:
Items with a 24hour and a positive stock quantity showing means we have it in stock
Items with a 2-7 days means we are not aware of any delay and have sold out of this item, we will need to order from our supplier to fulfil orders, it may already be on order and we are just awaiting delivery, or it could be an item we need to order in as it is not a common item.
Items with a 'Stock expected - early, mid, late - month' message is an item we have a confirmed delay message from the supplier.
We hope this helps.Wiggle have created this account to address issues raised here whilst using www.wiggle.co.uk For normal enquiries please contact sales@wiggle.co.uk Sorry we cannot respond to unrelated private messages.

Hi Wiggle
Thanks for the post and info. I have never had a problem with your quoted stock levels before and as said above.....I must be ordering popular items
Thanks again

This is entirely un-acceptable, i will never order again on this basis.

I agree. They should be anticipating peak time demands and building an even BIGGER warehouse just so they can order even more stuff to keep in stock during busy times.
Their stock system (especially if you understand the 2-7 day rule) is the best stock system going.0 -
wiggle generally pretty good, like the haribos
all the stuff i have bought arrive quickly
but their web site have loads of stuff on sale but unfortunately alot of it are out of stock, discountinued or no longer available, cant understand why these items are not removed from the site. old stock which have sold out weeks ago are still there.
these items should be removed, it makes the company look unprofessional0 -
One thing I don't get about the Wiggle site is the "Discontinued - no longer available" message for items that are readily available elsewhere (i.e. still available from suppliers). For eg. Black Diamante Pro Tyre
Lardy | Madame de Pompadour
0

i'd go with what i said earlier, when they are good, they are very good
ordered something yesterday early afternoon, order processed less than an hour later with email to confirm - item just arrived. that pretty good, eating haribos as we speak0 -
Slightly off topic, but what is it with wiggle and the giant boxes for tiny items ? Or is it just me ?0

Now we've got you Mr Wiggle, I have a complaint about your Jelly Beans.
The last packet I got, only had the 1 in, and that was a less than desirable grey colour.
Not only that, but it also had a bit of metal stuck in it (I'm surprised you haven't been sued, health and safety being what it is).
Anyway the one upside is although it doesn't taste of much I have been eating it for 6 months, now, and it still hasn't got any smaller.
Perhaps a word with Willy Wonka is required.0 -

thats not a jelly bean, its a brake block
ps note to wiggle - haribos tangtastic is too sour, please send me loads of samples so i can be your official taste tester and tell you what is best to send out to your customers0 -
Perhaps its not the new bike I am excited about it, its the haribos0

@Tri-Sexual
Thanks for the input about discontinued items, there is a reason for leaving them on our system. They are left listed so if a discontinued item is returned to us it will re-appear on the site once the refund has been made. Once all the sizes/colours have sold out of an item the whole product becomes 'invisible' to customers, but it does remain in our system for a number of years to enable customer returns, some items have lifetime guarantees. If you have a link to that items page you can still view it, but using the Wiggle menu's and searches will not enable you to see it.Wiggle have created this account to address issues raised here whilst using www.wiggle.co.uk For normal enquiries please contact sales@wiggle.co.uk Sorry we cannot respond to unrelated private messages.

i think Wiggle should include a Haribo preference option, particularly for Platinum customers. I am just fed up of throwing all the new cycling gear out of the box to get to the Haribos and then finding its a flavour I don't like.
Otherwise no complaints.0 -
I'd guess there'll be a lot of stock issues to manage this year for all retailers.
With continuing economic pressure and global restrictions on debt a lot of manufacurers in all sectors have reduced their production plans and are sitting on tight stock. Likewise wholesalers who need to manage inventory and cash flow/debt on what is a very seasonal and sensitive sector.
Imagine you had to buy nearly all your household items in sept/oct for the following calendar year as wholesalers do for stock? I'd be very cautious for one.0 -
ordered something else over the weekend
processed monday
arrived tuesday
pretty good eh? NO!.........where's my bloody haribos
first time ever...................not bloody happy0 -
orderd something else this week
again, no haribos, thats twice in the last two orders
whats going on?0 -
Sorry about that, we will investigate this further. It may be time to introduce the weighing of staff members as they enter and leave the warehouse to locate the missing Haribo's.

Slightly off topic but Wiggle appeared the Sunday Times top 100 management buyout list last Sunday. It says the original owners started the company with £2000 and its now worth millions. Damn, I missed that one.
Congrats to Mr WiggleI have only two things to say to that; Bo***cks0 -
