I was going to give my bike a clean today. Do a bit of maintenence on it and try and get the BSO up and running.
Went down to get breakfast and looked out the kitchen window to see the nice sunny morning had turned into a blizzard that is dumping a new layer of snow on the ground And I've no room to work in the shed.
sigh Roll on summer.

I don't want to alarm anyone but I think... we had a bit of sun up here earlier in EC1V. It was more noticeable because when bouncing off the opposite building windows it blinded a few of us...Le Cannon [98 Cannondale M400] [FCN: 8]

Here in Lewisham, too. Though the wind's so strong and swirling so much that I haven't yet seen a flake actually hit the ground.
Have fun on the ride home, boys and girls. I haven't left the house all day - looked at that wind and decided to stay inside and make industrial quantities of fish pie and some brownies instead.0 -

Sat in my south-facing office this morning, not a cloud to be seen, the sun beaming right at me, lovely and cosy and warm. Spring's on the way. Nice day to go for a stroll round town on my lunch.
By the time I got from the office to the outside, it was snowing :?0 -

Could I have picked a worse winter to decide to start cycling again.
Yes - but think how you'll feel cycling in the spring sunshine, birds coughing in the trees etc0
