I have been getting calf cramps in my left foot/calf recently.

I have been doing some thinking/looking at my set-up.

I have noticed two things recently:

1)The back left of my saddle is wearing out. The right hand side is fine.
2) On a long ride, the bit around my left shoulder blade feels slightly tense, the right feels ok.

I am thinking I have some sort of imbalance, do you think this may be causing my cramps?

Get checked out to see if your legs are the same length - seriously. If your left leg was a bit shorter it would cause what you describe.

A profession should easily spot if your hip bone isn't level if you stand on a hard floor with your shoes off.

Maybe worth trying a new saddle too - see whether is is the cause or effect.

I am using a stock standard spez. saddle. I have narrow sit bones, so i defiantly think a narrower saddle would help.
