    You're just insane.

Follow my mantra: if it won't make you a better rider, don't buy it.

Sneaking in new kit past MrsNapD no longer provides sufficient challenge, so you have lost the 'it's wrong, but it feels so right' element.

    You may be right...

My next challenge may involve a new HiFi rack or going from a 32" to a 46"telly...

Hey - I'm only buying things that are useful these days! Wheels, wheels and more wheels. :)

I'm still a mess. Still can't walk. Going back to doc tomoro for check up. Hopefully the antibiotics start working soon!

How about, every new piece of bling you buy, you have to sneak in to the house/garage dressed as Santa (without being spotted). :D

Thanks. Can't wait to get back to training. A break will help me re-focus.

Now - back to you. Isn't there something inherently wrong with making you 'winter' bike better than most people's race bike?

Maybe get a PowerTap hub for that 808 wheel? A disc? Subscription to WeightWatchers? ;)

I know what you mean - some of those 'black boxes' don't come cheap. If she does, just tell her the prices have gone up stupidly since the pound went down the drain.

Unfortunately, MrsNapD gets bought all her decent stuff by me...

I must be very very lucky...

I'd have suspicion that she was having an affair if she wasn't looking after NapKid1 and 2 all the time!
