The BMC in a nice bike and looks great with the kit and rider combo.
Treks have never done it for me aesthetically. It might be a subconcious Lance thing but they are not very pretty.0 -

Good for you, do you ever go out on any of them ?
Why, yes, I do. Often. Kinda fun really, I recommend you give it a go.Open One+ BMC TE29 Seven 622SL On One Scandal Cervelo RS0 -
Can I suggest humbly that you get out more? You might want to start by googling 'Colnago' Wink
A friend's team just got sponsored by Colnago here, same bike as the Team Type 1 crew are riding. But when she went to build the frame up she about fell over because it was the first time she'd seen them use an English BB..... CX1.... but since the box says it was made in Taiwan I suppose that explains that......
I vote for the BMC being WAY hotter than the Trek, and I like the Stars and Stripes paint job of the US National Road Champ, too - not because of any 'in your face' US pride or something similar, but just because I love the colors.......0 -
Hi there.
The Trek is a one-off custom collector's item designed for one single day's racing, whilst the BMC and Scott are off-the peg production frames available to anyone.
Have a look at the small shock retrofitted into the mono seat stay of the Trek.
The reason it looks dated is because it's a frame that was designed in the mid 90s... Even by the time 'Big George' was riding this the OCLV had already been phased out in favour of the Madone. In retrospect, the steerer tube choice wasn't the best though...
