I've been listening to a lot of Mastodon recently, Hunter being the album of choice. That, along with Crack the Skye being my two favourite albums by them.
Also dabbling into a bit of Flyleaf, fantastic band - surprisingly rare too, not many established Christian Metal bands out there!
How correct you turned out to be
I have moved on now to some better stuff. Although i still respect A7X as they started it for me, they are not on the same level as loads of other bands i listen to now.
Listening to alot of Dream Theater nowadays
Definitely my fave band. Musical Genius! Very difficult to pick the best album.
Rediscovered Metallica, fave album atm is And Justice For All, but i think all of their albums are great.
Other bands ive been listening too a fair bit recently:
Iron Maiden
Myrath
John Petrucci
Liquid Tension Experiment
The Winery Dogs
Symphony X

Bring Me The Horizon is definitely one of my top bands! I like the progression they have gone in through their last few albums. Dead Mau5 is for sure on the other side of the music spectrum but still good music nonetheless!
Update: Just saw Deadmau5 this past weekend, dude is incredible live!0 -
