Its news items like this that make me think what sort of country are we living in! No words can describe these two Parasites, but its clear society would be a lot better off without them!

It seems to me people in situations like that shouldn't be phoning the police. A complete waste of time. Perhaps phoning the local 'face' should sort the problem.

    Fucking cowards.

They'll have a nightmare in prison because they won't have the bottle to handle it.

    Execute them. Period.

Sack the police and public officials who falied in their duty to help this elderly man.

Its' no different from Baby Peter. Because the victim was elderly and frail and probably often confused as he was so scared nothing will be done.

The reason why the government chooses not to hold a referendum on the death penalty is they know there would now be a sizeable majority in favour of re-instating it, but the liberal do-gooder elite who control politics don't like the idea of it so no referendum.

I suspect if you had a referendum tomorrow there would be a sizeable majority in favour of banning:
    - speed cameras
    - parking enforcement
    - cyclists from roads
but the liberal do-gooder elite who control politics don't like the idea of it so no referendum. ...

America demonstrates beyond all doubt that the death penalty is not a deterrent. It is also very expensive given the number of appeals etc. Get rid of the liberal do-gooder appeals and you'll have lots of miscarraiges of justice.

Defending liberal do-gooder ideals in the face of outrage and disgust, with cries for death penalties and the like? On a forum?!

From experience, good luck! You'll need it!

Execution is too good for them and too quick, they need some - plenty of time even with a blunt instrument while having their hands and feet cabled tied

To be fair, I think China and Saudi Arabia are both good examples of exactly why we no longer have the death penalty.

  • Cant have the Death Penalty and be in the EU. Not only do they shoot you in China but they send a bill to your Family for the bullet after  . I may well have heard that in the Pub so there is a fair chance that its complete bollocks.

The problem with China is it's got itself such a bad reputation now that when you hear stuff like that you're initial response is "Nahh..." and then you take a breath in and go "Fuck - that's probably true."

Bit like the story of the men who died constructing one of the Olympic stadia, and were apparently encased in concrete so as not to halt the construction effort...

People (if they can be classed as this) such as these should just be taken out!

What good are they to anyone? And also, whilst in prison, it us hard working tax payers that are paying for them!

That story along with the OP's illustrates the main point of what we should be discussing really and that is how are people like that are being produced in society.

I don't agree with the death penalty because whether you get it wrong 1 in 100 times or 1 in a 100,000 that one mistake makes it unacceptable but I can see why people are driven to advocating such policy, its because those we elect don't have the will power to solve the wider problem or even the idea's to start with. It's a poor response to just accuse people who back capital punishment as Daily Mail readers or BNP members, think about what has made them feel that way.
