Top drawer.
Lovely stuff, congratulations. I do like the geometry of the Trek Madone.0 -
Thanks Pete. It is a really nice shape, I was a bit worried as the last Trek I had I really did not like but this is superb! The pearlescent finish really sparkles in the sun too.
I still have a bit of work to do with the rear brake.. it is pretty spongy and the power is just not right. Think I need to tweak the cabling somewhat.0 -

Been out yet? I was wondering how it rides? Fast, stiff and responsive?0 -
Hi, Pete. Not been out on it too much yet but so far I am very impressed. It is very fast and light.. and a hell of a lot more comfortable than my Cayo was. I think the comfort is the biggest and nicest difference. It is very stiff and accelerates well. Up the hills it is very good too. On a regular hill that is the steepest around here I usually struggle but first time on this I got up it with 2 gears left.
Considering how much of a Trek hater I was I am very impressed0 -

Great news. Funny thing that when you are steaming up a hill, you look down to remind yourself there are no cogs left and then you see you have two, maybe three.
Glad you are enjoying it - as I said, lovely bike.0
