I don't remember that being on Eurosport last year?

It's a big shame if they've dropped that one.

Haha. It was the only race in which Tankink could threaten the top 10 GC in.

S'only reason I watched it really.

There's a small time difference between the West Coast of the US, and Italy.

Makes you wonder whether Sky will wade in. Gather they're showing highlights of the TdU, together wih the last two stages live.

Be interesting to see how they may sex up the coverage. No doubt sans Mssrs Duffield, Harmon and Kelly (well, definitely).

Why sponsor a team and then only let poeple who already use sky see it?

Sky have shown the TDU for years. It'll just be the bog standard world feed with Liggett and Sherwen. Sky never produce any of the sport from outside the UK, they just buy it in from the host broadcaster.

Some people, like me, watch Sky channels via the Virgin operating system, rather than Sky's. And I believe that's where they make their real money.

Buying the big races wouldn't make sense but a few little ones would fill the schedules and allow them to big-up their brand.

The issue is how much time ES devote to these races.

Last 20km of PR or Flanders interspaced with curling/snooker/whatever is beginning to get on my wick!
