    Nope. That's a Fuji. Sorta why they are called "Fooon-Servetto-Fuji"! :roll:

    Is it just me - or will this year have the ugliest peleton EVER? That kit is the worst yet. Makes Radio Shack look high fashion!

    I don't think I can find words adequate enough to describe the sheer hideousity of that kit.

    The presentation was quite a spectacle apparently:
    The short shows the journey of some valuable gold pieces through a spectacular armored convoy, which is ambushed in Santander’s roundtown by a band of burglars led by Sordo, who shows his great racing capabilities with impressive spins through the hectic takes in the short. The truck is finally able to escape and eventually appears right at the front door of the hotel holding the team’s presentation; in that moment, and with big surprise from the crowd at the hotel, fiction becomes reality and the riders themselves, in black skinsuits, go down the truck, escorting the wooden chest that holds the precious goods. The riders reach the stage, open the door and unveil the real jewelry: the spectacular gold FUJI SST 1.0 frame that will be used by the team from spring, and the innovating, black-gold jersey designed by Dario Urzay, whose full outfit is finally shown by the riders by taking the skinsuits out.

    Can you imagine what the kit would look like with arm and leg warmers :shock:

  • This wonderful Footon-Servetto jersey was designed by Basque artist Dario Urzay.

    A few years ago the geezer was commissioned to create a shirt for Atletico Bilbao football team and when the thing came out, he received a number of death threats from members of three local ultra groups.

    He now lives in New York.

    Good lord. :shock:

    You'd have thought that design alone would have seen his career designing sports kit come to an end.

    Do you think he had some input into this design too;

    Pretty much my thoughts last year when Cav' and his chums were compelled to wear what was ordained for them from on high.

    Good for Cav' whenever he pulls off another win, but pity the poor fellow for having to wear those threads. Time has not moderated the pain yet of seeing that kit on the podium.

    OK, not Cav , but this picture of George probably explains his departure from Columbia.

    It's not George, it's Andre Griepel

    (and don't going changing the picture to make me look stupid).
