Hi all....
Firstly, this is my first post and sorry if this topic has already been done to death; and i'm pretty new to this. I'm essentially a rugby league player who road cycles when the weather is half decent in order to maintain some form of fitness. Anyhow, i recently badly damaged my shoulder and decided to concentrate my fitness efforts solely on cycling due to being limited to light weights training.
Because of the poor weather i'm considering purchasing a turbo trainer. I have some questions though.
1.The bike i intend to pair up with the trainer is a 2007 spec specialized sirrus pro (hybrid), can this be done?
2. Which is the best trainer for me for under £150?
3. Does the CycleOps Magneto meet the needs, or is there a better option?
Thanks for your time.

Q1 I suspect your bike runs with 700c wheels in which case I can't see there being a problem with most trainers. I think most if not all trainers support 700c wheels, but not all support MTB wheels without an adapter kit.
I can't answer Q2, but there are quite a few recent reviews around from the likes of Cycling Plus.
What I can tell you is that I have TACX Satori trainer which does the job nicely for me and seems to rank highly in many reviews. I paid in the region of £180 for mine and was gutted to see on the weekend that Decathlon (the sports store) are selling the same trainer (as far as I can tell) for £149 which would fit with your budget. At that price I'd say the TACX Satori was a bargin!0
