Which tyres?

Rubino's are totally fine for training. I used them all spring with no punctures. They roll well enough and last in the bad weather. Never had any troubles in the wet despite alot of reviews saying they're 'slimy' and 'lack grip'.
Maybe go for the Tech ones if they're for winter. Aquagrip compound for wet weather grip and sidewall protection. I had sidewall protection but I'm a bit suspicious of its merits. After a while it started coming away from the tyre in places - whether that was due to taking a hit or just bad design I dunno? No sidewall splits/blowouts anyway
Got some Pave's for christmas, but the Vred Tricomps still have a little wear left in them so by mid Jan I'll be able to try them out. Can't wait. New 320tpi version with PRB 2.0 too0 -
Just how much difference would 25's make than 700x23 for my winter road bike?
I have been considering http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Conti ... 360028710/ for the road bik and commuter.
for my winter road bike whivh has Pro race 3 on them at the moment
I also have Schwalbe 700x32 on my cross bike and am thinking of changing the tyres for road riding. the winter biohttp://twitter.com/mgalex

IMO it's silly to use anything other than 25mm tyres, except when racing (and maybe only then in the dry). You do notice the difference using 25mm tyres, particularly in terms of comfort and grip, they arguable less puncture prone, and they're just as fast rolling, if not faster, on real (read: anything but perfectly smooth!) roads.0
