Hi Tony. Looked at the Peaks one yesterday, sounds right up my street and i'm HOPING!! to be there. I've got plans at the mo but trying to change things to get there so it's just a case of fingers crossed.

Sundays only for me , saturdays is family stuff like shopping etc

Normally park at banners gate , i come past perry barr dogs up to the kingstanding island , then down banners lane

Recently purchased a set of crud guards after getting totally soaked and plastered in mud at cannock chase. Not put them to the test on a ride yet though so will see how good they are in the bog at sutton tomorrow.

Got some crud catchers on the way back at specialized fort Dunlop. Will clean the bike and stick em on for tomorrow.

@Phoebian. I fitted my crud guards today, the packaging said the rear one can be fitted without removing the seatpost but i couldn't do it (probably just me having a thick moment) so i removed the seatpost, put the required shim in place on the guard and then just slid the whole thing up the seatpost.

Hope that makes sense and hope it helps if you have problems trying to fit it with the post in the bike.

As i felt crap all week , i`ve just done a hour on my turbo trainer to see what the legs felt like ...and they felt like 2 hollow tubes with nothing in them !!
Hope they feel better tomorrow , otherwise i`m in trouble !!
