    Nope, just the last of the sun catching off the cloud I think. Wish my good camera had been working, that one was taken with the hero cam so it's not very good but I stood there for about 10 minutes just listening to the snow and the stream and watching the light over those trees, stunning...

    Mostly the snow's like yours but the drifts off those big fields were mad... Walking through them in shorts was a bit brutal, postholing down to mid thigh. What snowshoes for XC?
