think the term "peace through superior Firepower" springs to mind !

Sounds appropriate - 'who has the bigger stick' is also a good one :-)

More's the pity (from a Planetary point of view) A good selection of warfare kept the human population in check, invasions, massacares, slaughtering. Since (and probably before) WW1 we have had much less than at anytime during history, (even WWII was only a blip) and as a result the population has increased exponentially.

Now we are heading for overpopulation at an alarming rate.

We will wipe ourselves out - hear me now..... I do think there is virtually nothing that can be doen to stop this. We are Easter Island gone large.

This should keep you amused - 210 pages of debate over which is the best gun to pack for your commute: http://www.cyclingforums.com/cycling-equipment/180561-how-many-you-carry-gun-part-your-cycling-equipment.html
  • Granted a rare opportunity to film without censorship at a gun show, this is perhaps the first film featuring gun experts giving direction for the bicyclist wanting to be 'packing heat'.

you know what I noticed.... that the man had moobs.... This may be a sign that i'm over tired...
  • re the video http://vimeo.com/8180105 it was a unique and rare opportunity to be able to make this video live at a gun show, usually video cameras are not permitted at these events - so as a biker and a bike blogger I kinda ran with it so to speak!

Yes, we are a bizarre lot. No other species requires to have some all powerful "god". I believe it is because we cannot face the prospect that we are all alone, there is no more to it than what we see. Therefore lets destroy each other, but also beleive in god? Very, very bizarre!!!

Try telling that to all the aliens in their UFOs and far more advanced life forms than us - we are like cavemen to them (if you believe in that stuff). Although even if 95% of all crop circles, UFO sightings, alien abductions, alien sightings and all other stuff was fake that means the 5% is true. We are not alone. 5% means 100% we are not alone.

Try telling that to Sigourney Waever from film Aliens, Pierce Bronsan from Mars Attacks and Darth Vadar from Star Wars too, 'surrender yourself to the dark side'.

ps - I dont actually think the alien from Aliens was a more advanced lifeform, maybe advanced killing machine though, or aliens from Mars Attacks. E.T (phone home) was advanced though.
  • No No No, you are looking in the wrong direction!

You fit the gatling pointing to the rear. There goes wheelsuckers and you get an acceleration in the DDD range of awesomeness.
