    Not really.

    A couple of days observing in a school (Linsen's very nice school!), that's all. Mind you in the interview he pretty much made me promise to make sure to spend a whole week in a less nice school just to make sure I know what I'm in for....!

    The lack of teaching experience was what basically put me off applying for a PGCE, a friend who's a (chemistry) teacher said it was necessity. I had left it rather late to apply for a PGCE, as I was supposed to be doing a PhD but the funding never materialised until October so I was saved from having to apply in the end.
    I like bikes...
