The best lade plans................ The forecast was for the rain to stop at 09.00, so I arranged a morning ride then decorating a room my daughter made a mess of then got her own flat leaving me to sort things out. 09.00 and it's pouring down so I opted for a gym session.
 I drove down there, less than half a mile
Yes I had a hell of a work out once I was there but I could have walked. Be gentle, what is my penance. ( I did help plant over 600 trees yesterday )

Penance for going to the gym? 30 lashes, I say. Driving there is immaterial
  • Knowing APIII's attitude to the gym i think you should ignore his sniping.

I've been even worse. The gym used to be a ten minute walk, but due to flooding is now a 30 minute walk. I skived off going for 3 weeks and then got my girlfriend to drive me there. Top THAT for laziness,

Tut tut, no excuses ;) the weather forecast was almost spot on.

I managed a very pleasant 40 miles around Harrogate and Otley. Weather was lovely, even sunny for much of it.

Even managed 20 miles in the mud on Saturday with a mate mountain biking
