If anyone is interested please sign up to my blog at the link below! I am not advertising or selling anything... just looking to share my experiences of doing up this classic bike!

  • I am disappointed that no-ones really replied...... this is going to be a bike taht Anquetil, Coppi and Bartali would all have wanted! Well, maybe..... but it's going to great nonetheless!

Please take a look and sign up as I'll be updating frequently from now on!

  • Hi Bagpuss!!

Many thanks for the interest and link..... your Colnago is breathtaking! Just gorgeous. I also like the silver Claud Butler and the emerald green Mercian.

I am going for a sky blue colour with gold lug lining to match the mudguard colour scheme. The idea being that the bike will look like a fully organic machine, rather than something with a set of Bluemels just whacked on.

I have just managed to get myself a Gran Sport rear mech in near A1 condition so keep watching the blog for updates.... thanks!
