Hmmm....even a misathropic curmudgeon such as myself can find a few:
    1. Some truly brilliant friends.
    2. Cycling in general, in particular all the cracking people I've met through this, and the great times I've spent with them.
    3. Speaking of which, I should be able to go to the Morpeth on the 18th!
    4. Though this time of year is like drowning in a sea of work, it does mean pudding, cake and mince pies!
    5. Only another twelve weeks to go to the next Friday Night Ride to the Coast.
    6. And eight weeks until Rammstein play Wembley.
    7. Wales. Lay off, it's lovely. And so's Scotland, btw.
8.Clever Italian and Taiwanese people who made my bikes.
    9. I too have a job. At least for the moment.
    10. I have the week's leave I wanted to do the British Legion's London-Paris ride next year.
    4. I have a job, it's a rubbish one, but a job nonetheless
Which reminds me, any progress on the air traffic control thingy?
