you're the biggest gang on here :-) ...I put Andyp as gang leader as he's been posting since the c+ forum days and yet appears to have forgotten that..way back in 2005 i think redragon and E Madden are followers of you too. Monty Dog has gone v quiet on here after years of ferociously anti Armstrong/hincapie postings 3 or 4 years agio...Iainf too maybe even in your gang? Though Iain at least cuts some of them some slack when they get done e.g. Tyler H, Basso. Even timoid is quiet..indeed he was poss one of the early anti lance contrubuters when he had a thread called "lance hating" started right after 2005 TDF :-) up to then most of the forum was neutral on American cyclists I think

I reckon LA's lack of data points will not have helped starting 09...perhaps he'll be able to use the info guys like the schleks and Contador provided in 09 TDF to work on his weakest aspects...lack of acceleration mainly...lack of TT power... his TTs were awful by his standards...worse than his climbing relative to his previous standards...on Ventoux he looked much stronger than in week two

I really wouldn't waste your time replying to them on this subject, especially mg as they are irrational.
    Contador is the Greatest

  • Unsurprisingly and immature. I would have thought someone more than 10 years anothers senior with more experience racing would be above that, whoever they are. Pretty sad behaviour/attitude.

Contador will rip his legs off him on any terrain - he has got to get used to it.

I presume you mean his 99-05 standards, not his 91-96 standards.

As Dennis Healey famously said in response to Geoffrey Howe in a 1978 commons exchange its like being savaged by a dead sheep...............you gotta a way to go yet frenchletter before anyone takes you seriously mate ,as i said to you previously let the big boys do the discussions you stick to drooling over photos .

I am not surprised his TTs were not as good pre 99 though he wasnt going for GTs and like a lot of riders he would have used TTs mid Tour as a day off. Plus he specialised in the discipline more post 99.

FFS........ So two sporting combatants have a fued and announce they are not friends ,reality check time they are not the fiirst and they wont be the last. Contador has spent the last few months crying about this and crying about that and making the likes of you wet your panties in frustration and now LA retorts and he is branded immature

I know you'll not give credit to LA for staying top level for 17 years, the comeback at 38...but I'll remind you or what you don't wanna know, LA was very fast in TTs at 24... beating Jalabert who was world TT champ at the time and the others

    1996 Paris Nice

    Stage 8b Antibes - Nice-Antibes - 19,9 km ITT:
    1. Chris Boardman (Eng) Gan 21.16 (56,139 km/h)
    2. Lance Armstrong (USA) Motorola + 0.24
    3. Laurent Jalabert (Fra) Once + 0.29
    4. Laurent Brochard (Fra) Festina + 0.32
    5. Frank Vandenbroucke (Bel) Mapei-GB + 0.33
    6. Erwan Mentheour (Fra) Aki + 0.38
    7. Rolf Jarmann (Sch) MG-Technogym + 1.07
    8. Inigo Cuesta (Spa) Once + 1.08
    9. Mariano Rojas (Spa) Once + 1.09
    10. Stefano Casagranda (Ita) MG-Technogym + 1.10
    11. Bruno Boscardin (Ita) Festina + 1.10
    12. Andrea Peron (Ita) Motorola + 1.14
    13. Andrej Tchmil (Rus) Lotto + 1.16
    14. Carlo Bomans (Bel) Mapei-GB + 1.18
    15. Gianluca Gorini (Ita) Aki + 1.20

But i am making a point with these to illustrate your fanciful ideas and nonsensical thought processes and your general idiocy. Wheras you seem to specialise in drooling over male cyclists . Each to their own frenchletter each to their own. Anyway you stated you were going to ignore me so how is that going anyway ?

As an aside: EPO is very effective in TTs.

  • As a lady why don't you enjoy looking at muscular buttocks in lycra...there can only be one answer to that!!

You are so sad, so irrational, so immature, so full of nonsensce. I had to respond to point out your blatant hypocrisy but that is all for now...you are a total waste of time. Until the next time you make an absolutely ludicrous comment.

Two very pertinent, and linked, comments.

Very useful for those wondering how 62 kg climber Bertie manages to crush the TT specialists in flat TTs...

WTH? you're hardcore frenchie!....Moray Gub makes sensible postings...given people's propensity to mudsling on here re doping and believe whatever is coming out of the rumour mill on doping whether true or not e.g. Quickstep, MG at asks some good questions from what I see.
