    - hope you didn't get too bored waiting for me on the climbs

Not at all, gave me a chance to put my lungs back in after I'd coughed them up at the top of each climb

Get your triple on and it could be you waiting for me. Thoroughly good ride, haven't been around Gisburn for a good few months now (despite being up there nearly every weekend digging), really good to get re-aquainted with the place.

Was up there yesterday. Really enjoyed it. Some good work gone into the building of the trails 8) . Bloody boardwalk was well slippy  . My mate went for a burton on one of the bridges and his bike ended wedged in the side of the bridge teetering over the stream.

We were late setting off though and didnt start riding until about 2.30. Had to finish in the dark with crappy Cateye commuter lights :P and there was still people out there that we passed that didnt have any lights

  • Yea I was very careful on the boardwalk! They haunt me at the best of times!!
Weirdly though, skinnies don't really phase me
  • Wait 'til the frost comes, then they'll be fun!

Benj, do you still fancy a blast round in the dark? Thursday maybe?
  • Possibly yeah!! I really am crap at climbing though, might take 1 more weekend up there to get my legs used to pushing the heavy 9sp bike up hills again before hand.... I really ahte holding people up :(

Actually you just reminded me of something.... *starts new thread*
  • Up to you, I'll let you know if I'm going and you can decide. Don't worry about holding me up, I prefer to plod up hills in a low gear anyway, coming back down's a different story though!
  • No worrys mate :)

I think I pushed more hills today than rode them! Then again I did ride yesterday too and my legs were soooorrree! haha.

I do! I work most weekends, so night time is the only time I can ride with anyone else.
