Blimey, this thread has travelled further down the toilet than I thought possible.

what really? I suspect it could go a hell of a lot further
Certainly ain't about anybody of that doping hitlist, definitely nothing to do with Lance.
More to do with the lack of cyclingnews, I suspect.
Are we that desperate for a timely twitter from Sky?

I still want to know why Vino comes out as Dr Evil, while the likes of Ricco and Schumacher more like Dr Who?.....

getting caught mid tour means Ricco and vino < schumacher...

vino wins evil prize from Ricco as serious GC contender and "we all felt betrayed" because up until then we enjoyed his gutsy rides... Ricco we never liked because he was an prize d1ck so his downfall was less of a shock...
"If I was a 38 year old man, I definitely wouldn't be riding a bright yellow bike with Hello Kitty disc wheels, put it that way. What we're witnessing here is the world's most high profile mid-life crisis" Afx237vi Mon Jul 20, 2009 2:43 pm

I just had a look at the site where the poll is being conducted. It is a new one to me.
I have to say that it a little 'tabloid' for my liking. Very sensationalist.
I'm suspect that it pitches Vinokourov as evil, and the average subscriber swallows it up.

    Just a thought.

This is another thread against LA?

Well, everyone has managed to either stick to the list or mention someone else, except for frenchie, Moray (who else) and, of course Dave, who is still banging on about the triathlon, that anybody who has read book 1, will know all about.

Try and tone down the obssession guys.

I agree with MG, no place for Boonan amongst this shady bunch.
If I had to pick, I'd go for SS as the German's are a lost cause, regarding this doping lark.
Most of the others are interesting characters, at least.

Blaze, I 100% agree with you re Boonen...it's nobody's business but Tom Boonen's what he gets up to in his own time away from bike racing, no PEDS and probably more indicative of the stress cycling puts people under...to put him on the list of riders needing eliminated is really quite a smear and totally unfair

Objective acheived for you, you are so predictable you have now got the thread where you wanted it to go when you started it. He is a 7 time TDF winner ffs what sort of attention do you think he was going to get ?

Have to agree. I'm not a Lance fan, but this is clearly a thinly veiled attempt to start yet another Lance bashing thread. First you hoped that you could get away with not mentioning him at all and someone else would chip in.

When it didn't happen you had to try harder.

In time you'll notice that Lance will have a positive effect on your little friend Contador's profile.

I can see why Tom Boonen could be taken off the OP's list but why would anybody add Lance Armstrong?

  • It's a good thread, and there's nothing wrong with asking which pro is doing the sport most harm. Give me one Bernard Kohl for 50 Vinos any day.

I'm not sure I understand this. Maybe I have it wrong. Are you saying that you'd prefer 50 Vinos in the sport rather than one Kohl?
