Not sure if this has been done before; but I am curious if anyone takes pictures of themselves when they reach the to tops of the trails? If so; let's see 'em!
Didn't think to take one atthe top of Glentress, but I will start with a pic of me and my better half braving the wet at innerleithen a few months ago:
Would like to say thanks to the kind chap who took the photo for us

Not just any old red pyjamas, bargain basement red pyjamas from CRC (£15 I believe).

Top of the North and South loop at Whinlatter Forest Altura trail last weekend.
Freezing cold and wet but a good laugh.

Good to see that we weren't the only ones with terrible harsh weather at te top of a trail, the oddest feeling getting bak into the forest below the marsh at the top of Innerleithen, felt like a different country completely. Amazing what a bit of tree cover does ain't it?
Had some issus with my hosting; finall got my picture working now
ste0649 - Have they still got all those bags of rocks at the top of the south loop? the trail at the top was unridable when we went a while ago. :?0 -
Some great photos there, love the self timer comment.
Here's me, Huey and Joe at the Jochpass at Engelberg (2200m). We had just ridden up and were not fully prepared for the mind boggling steepness of the first 700m of vertical decent.
I am the fatty on the left. Pity my bike!
Actually, nice selection of moobs there from all of us. Ladies, form an orederly queue 8)

Hi Kiblams, didn't see and bags at the top, they must have completed the route now. We rode up and back down on it no problem.Scott Speedster S40

Must admit, I had the same thought
Just out of curiousity; where would be the top of FTD? :P maybe the top of the sand? :?
Great pics guys, keep 'em comming!0 -
Sorry but you're second best. 2601m here.
Ok well if we're playing that game - here's me at the top of Pic Blanc in Alpe D'huez - 3300m

Here's a pic of my Heckler somewhere up the red route at Ae.
He'res me at the top of a slippery slope, and a free coconut goes to anyone (excluding the www.ukmb.net crew) who can identify the trail.
And just for fun, here's a picture of a dead sheep in a canal.

Ha! However, as I am still considerably fatter than you, at least give me some credit for even heaving my carcass up there! Seriously, I thought I was going to pass out like the guys you see doing teh mountain stages of TDF. F*cking 2 hrs of granny gear wobbling.
Grumsta, not sure how, but next summer I am going to make it my life's work to try to top that! How was the run down? Any brake pads left?
*kev disappears to start poring over ski area maps*
Homers Double - pure class on the canal photo!

grumsta
Yours doesn't count, you took the ski lift to the top.
Although you're on the top of the other category.
So I win again. From home to peak.

That ain't the top! You've still got that horrible fire road to climb from there and a bit more singletrack..
Me and a mate up Skiddaw a month or so ago, I'm on the right...
Took around around 1hr15 to get up and 15mins to come back down- including stopping for gates and the walker slalom near the bottom 8)
Slighty dis-coloured my rear disc with the heat too0 -

Run down was awesome but very knackering - from 3300m to 700m. :shock:0
