Best liniment / embro?

Im looking at getting some rubs for training and recovery. What products are used by members and are they effective, or more of a placebo? I dont think il need to heat style rubs at the moment, as we are coming into summer over here in Australia and its not cold at all. The elite range looks good, however is pretty expensive. Anyone tried the "natures kiss" products?
