Of course they are correct! If they were not, NASA would not be able to launch a single vessel into space!
KK.
Newton's laws are not 'correct', they are simply a very good estimate. Einstein's relativity provides us more accurate estimates for such calculations.
Newton's laws are still valid, but Relativity is required when extreme precision is needed or when dealing with massive or extremely fast objects. You could not setup the GPS network with Newton's calculations for example.
I think we can all be thankful that these clever chaps did not waste their youth messing about on mountain bikes! 8)
They do. The confusion is that very few mountain bikers understand physics.
Apart from the laws that cover magnetism - most people don't realise that wood attracts metal very strongly (But they find out, almost as soon as they ride through a forest)
If you didn't learn anything today, you weren't paying attention!
Everybody knows theyre there. You can do things on a bike that you shouldnt be able to. I dont know, its damn hard to explain. It feels as if when your on the bike, the laws do not apply to you. That is how i should have worded it

Why do the Laws of physics and others seem to not apply to you when your on a bike?

Of course, could either of them have figured out the mechanics of the awesome Cat-Toast device? http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Murp ... atory_cats
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.
Never met her.
Excellent!
KK - I've been called some pretty damn insulting things before but MP really is below the belt.

So Yeehaa's First Law would be -
"For every annoying action, there is a proportionately increased and possibly unecessarily violent reaction."

that's me, through and through
EDIT:
although I'd replace "proportionately" with logarithmically, or maybe some kind of square or cube function
