KK.
Newton's laws are still valid, but Relativity is required when extreme precision is needed or when dealing with massive or extremely fast objects. You could not setup the GPS network with Newton's calculations for example.
I think we can all be thankful that these clever chaps did not waste their youth messing about on mountain bikes! 8)
Of course, could either of them have figured out the mechanics of the awesome Cat-Toast device? http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Murp ... atory_catsYou only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.0 -

Tell that to my ex...
we have all been there
Never met her.Hercule Q wrote:gravity is affected by light, its easyer to drop stuff in the dark
Excellent!
KK - I've been called some pretty damn insulting things before but MP really is below the belt.0 -

I've never even met Supersonics' ex, am I missing something? :shock:0 -

I prefer the illegal option of massively increased, and opposite reaction
So Yeehaa's First Law would be -
"For every annoying action, there is a proportionately increased and possibly unecessarily violent reaction."0 -
HELL yeah!
that's me, through and through
EDIT:
although I'd replace "proportionately" with logarithmically, or maybe some kind of square or cube function0 -

YES! that's the word. I couldn't remember it earlier :oops:0

If you didn't learn anything today, you weren't paying attention!0 -
Everybody knows theyre there. You can do things on a bike that you shouldnt be able to. I dont know, its damn hard to explain. It feels as if when your on the bike, the laws do not apply to you. That is how i should have worded it
New post title :
Why do the Laws of physics and others seem to not apply to you when your on a bike?

That's like saying i want a door for my car that doesn't meet the roof, because I once had the wind blow it shut when I was getting in, and I had my head squished between, well, the door and the roof.0 -
I find Simple Harmonic Motion very useful when straddling my glossy white beauty, but that's a story for another time kids...
