Just been on the phone to ATB sales, they confirmed it's the only one in the UK, it came from Germany, and it was originally intended for the Race Team, so it's a bit special this one!!!0

Mines a team edition frame too ;-)0

Paul, you may be able to help, are those headset cups pre-installed in the frame, i'e, do I just drop bearings in them?0

Yes, my Zaskar came like that, prefitted cups - it also came with the bearings ;-)
You need the rest of the headset, and need to know what it is!0 -

Mine doesn't come with the rest, but I know it's an FSA Orbit Z (which i have on the way), although I bought it from a Marin dealer, it was the owners, so effectively this was a private sale, oh and seems like I got a good deal, ATB reckon they are about £800 per frame in equivalent, although you can't buy them on their own!0 -

Meh, it's nothing special...
Kidding, it's gorgeous mate, I'm very jealous, sounds like it's going to be a lovely build!! look forward to seeing the pics!!0 -
Well if my headset turns up (the frame already has the cups fitted), I can begin the build early next week as I am away the weekend.... it's sad when you would rather be at home fettling than having fun in the real world0
-
Not at all! I'm going to a housewarming tomorrow, lasting all day.. I'd much rather be cleaning my bike..
Nice avatar btw cheesey0 -
Just to add, love the idea of red white n blue build - can't wait to see it!
Though I don't think you should ride it, I think it should be tucked up in bed safe and sound and the misses chanined up in the garage.
Might be an entierly differnt issue all together tough :shock:0 -

need something more 'racy' and lightweight, without a flange, don't want a lock on..... something in a nice baby blue will do (ooh that rhymed)0
-
I actually hate you a little bit, that's about the best looking frame I've ever seen and it's a proper one off! (in this country at least).
Although I reckon if it was mine I'd be so scared of scratching it I wouldn't dare ride it! Or just heli tape every inch of it!0 -
Very very nice looking frame, I also run a Scandium HT & like the way it rides.
Are you sure that weights right? 2lb is 900grams which is lighter than top end carbon. Under 3lbs I could believe as mines full Scandium & around 1400grams but under 2lbs sorry I can't believe that. I expect it's just the excitement of holding a light frame 8)0 -

Well, I haven't weighed it with digi scales, however, I held a 2lb weight in one hand, and that in the other and it was defo lighter, noticeably.. I know its a caveman method, but you could tell the difference, a bag of sugar is a kilo < > is it not?0 -
It weighs about 1200g IIRC. It feels lighter because it is so much larger!
Nice Avatar ;-)
Berk will be getting a range of clothes for the next few days, and logos!0
