i know you will enjoy the south loop. the first part is mostly uphill climb but its worth it, as they say what goes up must come down, hope you have a great day0
-
Cheers
Yeah the last part of the north loop was brilliant but a bit short... hoping the south is just as good0 -
try doing the blue before the south, and go staight up the last hill this takes you onto the south. it makes for a longer more varied ride.0
-
South loop is better than the north imo. Blue is well worth doing as well - some HUGE berms and nice easy jumps, plus optional tech climb sections etc, very well designed imo.0

Can't wait to get back to do the south loop - half term can't come soon enoughNow that we are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak and not to please ourselves. ROMANS 15:10

I'll probably be there. Doing Blue, the South then North, then Threlkeld loop, all in a big non stop round. I too will look out for someone I don't knowFrank Yates0

i'm going to whinlatter this weekend but i'll be there sunday not tomorrow.......not been before so it should be fun!0
-
Might have a wander up tomorrow morning it'll be rather soggy up there by now
As gaanrowl says carry on from the blue into the South- its too short by itself.
What time you planning on getting up there benj? I'll be on my Pitch- give us a nod if you see or pass me

im now off up on sunday, not looking forward to running on my worn down ralph buty it might be fun.0

I actualy prefered the south loop to the north, loved the exposed, sweeping downhill bit, so fast and so fun.
Didn't do the blue last time, so might hav to give that a bash next time i'm up.
Have fun Ben, awesome trails! What We Achieve In Life, Echoes In Eternity0 -

lol, it bloody rained last time I went!
Should be alright... I prefer riding in the wet and will wear knee + elbow pads as per usual anyways!0 -
Last time (first time) I went up there I was on my own and it had absolutely pished it down all morning on the way up. I decided to lug my full-face lid round with me and boy was I glad I did. Came off on the North loop and smacked my head on a tree...0

wasn't that shite corner after the jumpy bit was it?
the one that suddenly S bends around a tree?
My bro went off there last year and was lucky to walk away from it!0 -
You've got to be ready for that S bend, nearly caught me out a couple of times.
I prefer the North, more techincal- but the South is still very enjoyable, it is just about all climb then all decent- watch the board walk pieces on the South- slippery when wet...0 -
hopefully i will be there on sunday but i am not getting my hopes up yet, will be on my trek remedy, mate on a ransom, mate on a felt and a mate on a comi with custom spray, say hi if you see us, we will stand out, as you dont see a combination of bikes like ours together,0

Looking rather windy for tomorrow- gusts upto 63mph!
Think I'll stay home0 -
oo sounds like fun
Might take my kite I'm going no matter what... haven't been riding for 2 weeks due to this and that and I can't wait to get wet and muddy again
Hopefully the bro will take is go pro so any "accidents" should be on camera0 -
Well some of the decent will be hard work but some will be faaaasssssssssssssssssstttttttttt!
Watch you don't grab a bit too much air!0 -
lol... as long as I don't start going too fast into jumps (like i usually do) and overshoot wildly into the wind.... I should be alright!
I can see myself being blown off the trail now0 -

No it was up at the top of the North loop just before the descent proper begins. I did nearly bin it on that S-bend too, managed to come to a complete halt though before I did. And I lost it on the last of the big berms on the North loop. Then I was plagued by a slow puncture for the whole of the South loop...0 -
You've probably gone by now but watch out for one of the jumps on the South- you land on the corner- can be a struggle to make it round! :shock:0
