dont like cancellara's bike... reminds me of that tacky bike that Armstrong came out with - you know the one with all the figures... ... Doesnt match his swiss kit at all.
Anyone else notice how old looking Riis is on that motocycle?**************************************************

I can imagine the press getting in a real muddle because the BC kit says Sky on it. They should all be forced to wear their trade team shorts.
When I'm in charge of the UCI, I'll make it a rule.Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0 -

Cancellara's bike is the Specialized Shiv. Chris McCormack is riding it at the Ironman Hawaii in a couple of weeks' time:

I think Dolan painted it (hence the Twitter post from Brad), but it is a Felt.0 -

How much is Felt and how much is Dolan I don't know but painting bikes up with another brand name just because of sponsorship especially for time trial bikes is not uncommon. Andy Walser's frames (http://www.walser-cycles.ch/) are often rebadged and so are Cervelo frames.0 -

Yep but the downtube shape curved round the front wheel and the hourglass forks are unmistakably Felt. I think0 -

When Wiggo wrote on Twitter that he was getting some bits from Dolan, some folk interpreted that as he was riding a Dolan bike, despite him posting earlier that he had a nice Felt for the TT. Just my wee effort at a joke....Le Blaireau (1)0 -

They do wear trade shorts in the race. I suppose they can train in whatever they like.Twitter: @RichN950 -

I think you'll find they wear COUNTRY shorts in the race? Not trade shorts.0 -

Unless they've changed the rules this year, you think wrong. (Although admittedly they wear country colours).

I see Twiggo is controversially persisting with black socks. Not very mod IMO unless he's trying to colour match with his tyres. White socks definitely make you go faster even if they're hidden under overshoes.
(Cue another heated debate about gentlemens hosiery)Let's close our eyes and see what happens0 -

All wearing national kit there.
They allowed to put their team sponsor on their shorts, but they are still the national team shorts.0 -
shorts - national colours, but with trade team logos
Dolans - didn't Terry himself sya that there were 8 Dolans being ridden in the peleton at the Giro? Rebadging is probably harder now/more obvious to spot these days what with all this carbon fibre rococo embellishment than it was in Boardman's day (Cougar/Dolan crossed out and Time (was it?) written on in wax crayon)
Real shame Sky are not riding Dolan (says that with vague Britishness hat on)0 -
I think all/most of them have worn their trade helmets the last couple of years.
It's a good way to pick out the riders as the BBC won't help.0 -

You go by colours I go by sponsors. Trade teams have different coloured for riders with different jerseys (national champ etc).
You see national shorts with a sponsor put on it. I see trade shorts with the colour changed to match the jersey.
Either way, it's not worth arguing over.Twitter: @RichN950 -
does anyone know if set-off times for the men's TT have been confirmed yet? I couldn't see them on the Worlds website...point your handlebars towards the heavens and sweat like you're in hell0
