Lights and Coppi

Just got back from hols and a great read about Fausto Coppi written by William Fotherington, well worth a look if you’re interested in cycling history. On my return I immediately looked for an original 1940s/50s Bianchi (there’s one on ebay for about £6,000!!)
Any way I’m really after any advice/thoughts on lights both front and back. I read some good feedback about the Cateye LD610 at 19.99 for a rear light. However for a front light I’m a bit stuck. I have looked at a number of sites that seem to range from £20 to £420. Although I know its very important safety wise I don’t want to get sucked in and pay silly money.

I have the Cateye LD1100 rear light. With two tiers of lights you can have one tier set to constant with the other flashing. It's really good. Deff. worth the money (27.99)
