Lights and Coppi

Just got back from hols and a great read about Fausto Coppi written by William Fotherington, well worth a look if you’re interested in cycling history. On my return I immediately looked for an original 1940s/50s Bianchi (there’s one on ebay for about £6,000!!)
Any way I’m really after any advice/thoughts on lights both front and back. I read some good feedback about the Cateye LD610 at 19.99 for a rear light. However for a front light I’m a bit stuck. I have looked at a number of sites that seem to range from £20 to £420. Although I know its very important safety wise I don’t want to get sucked in and pay silly money.

The 'Hope Vision 1 LED' (£80'ish) seems to be getting good reviews. My friend has just ordered one so waiting to see just how good it is before I get a new light for this winter.
I have the Cateye LD1100 rear light. With two tiers of lights you can have one tier set to constant with the other flashing. It's really good. Deff. worth the money (27.99)Road: Felt AR0, Di2
Touring/commute: Dolan Multricross
TT: PX Exocet Sold because it was like a sail in the wind (sh*t)0 -
oh and on the rear try one of the smart 1/2 watt superflash, much much brighter than the LD1100 (which i also have)0
