Any one else using this?

I'm halfway through but already impressed - basically aimed at the ageing racer with heavy work and family commitments and none of the time needed for the traditional 'base building' approach to training. (Me in a nutshell!)
The thesis (and they don't shy from explaining the science) is that below 8hrs training a week makes the traditional approach ineffective and you're better off with a regime of intensive interval training. The result won't be the same in terms of overall endurance but you can get pretty close, particularly if you train for a specific, sub 3hr event.
I'll let you know how I get on!

How are you getting on with this? I have recently bought the book but not started any of the training programes yet - still reading through it. I have completed the field test today (Av HR 165) so I'm ready to indulge but need to decide on which of the 4 training programes I need to follow, it will prob be the first but still undecided. Which program did you decide to go for?0

I've been trying to get hold of a copy (as it seems to have been written specifically for me too!) but Amazon have sold out.
I tried Cordee, the UK distributors, and they expect it back in stock at the end of next week (9th October). Here's the link if anyone else is trying to get a copy:

I'm hoping that it will give me the edge for my club's next time trial - last night's performance was pitiful...0 -
