Lots of servicing, and putting together new bikes.
and a bit of trying to get things sorted.
still have not started this lot.
But the work bench is getting done by the other Mechanic, not my mess.
Finally got the last bits for this.
so that is gone.
Just need more M12 crank bolts for some other builds.
Finally got the my road bike sorted, and for the first snow of the year to fall!
Oh and a lot of studded tyres fitted."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

We had a front wheel in today for a bearing problem.
axle in three parts!
Was doing another BB face and thought this showed it quite well.
On the way back i had a close encounter of the wild type.
and then had a Roe deer run out in front of me a bit later."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
Parktools :?:SheldonBrown0 -
Bloody hell thats a lot of spares
Do you repair/salvage the parts that you remove from bikes and use them as spares on others?0 -
most of the spares are just stock (old) for builds the only thing that gets kept are cranks as arms are often needed.
we do a lot of builds. Bike and wheels."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I'd love to have a rummage around in that workshop. There must be loads of hidden gems in there.0

well today was short as we had an Office meeting ( real job).
so not many pics but some servicing, swaoped out the owners XT mechs and shifters for X0 mechs and X0 grip shifts.
Finished another SS jumpish bike
But as i will be back in the Office for the next few days if not longer i will leave you with this pics for this thread.
Here is where the covers are kept.
and if you can read this it is wrong.

Nice pictures of the shop. Thank you. 8)
I've learnt a bit from this thread too. Three headset spacers are fine and that my bike is not proper filthy like some pictured.
I have a Focus Black forest '09. If I may ask, how does the new line up compare?0 -
dragonflyjade
sorry I have no idea for a single bike but as a whole the Focus 2010 range looks good.
Better than some other ranges."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
Parktools :?:SheldonBrown0 -
Sound. Thanks Nick.
I'm one of this years noobs with a new bike but a twenty year riding gap. Money can buy all sorts but sometimes not the quality. I'll follow this thread quietly and with interest.0 -

pictures uploading.
it is a star. :P"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
