Somehow that second bike doesn't really shout "Intruder Raptor" to me but I'm sure it'll do the daily commute just nicely.0
-
The "intruder" doesnt appear to have any brakes!I like bikes and stuff0
-
it's got a brake arm on the rear hub so a brake somewhere.0
-
well spoted sir! those hub brakes are awful! i have one on my 50's tandem. couldnt stop a grany on a shoping bike, never mind two fit guy's on a tandem powering along the canal path at warp speedI like bikes and stuff0

7spd hub and back pedal brake great for skids."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Well today was a non bike day.
As the shop was closed as the owners were of buying/ordering 2010 stuff.
So i was playing with something a bit different.
"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Does it have something to do with some bizarre driving school test?0
-
something for practicing parallel parking at a driving school? remote controlled to move around.
Maybe advanced driving in traffic training for the plod0 -

Why are MTB economics; spend twice as much as you intended, but only half as much as you wish you could afford? :roll:0 -
Great thread this. WTF is that thing Nick?0
-
The Zarges case is a bit of a clue. I think
It looks like the kind of thing you see in car factories for wheeling big (but not heavy) panels around. Only better.0 -
well, despite being a cardboard cut-out, the "Audi" still has wired light clusters by the looks of things, so my guess is some kind of driver training aid....perhaps something to do with stopping distances judging by the rather large orange pad?Santa Cruz Chameleon

Well today.
Back in the shop there were one or two bikes for service but in general fairly calm.
this was fun.
and got this '10 bike up and running.
and had a little play."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
Parktools :?:SheldonBrown0 -
That looks like a lot of fun. Downhilly, but not too downhilly.0
-
That cart thing looks like something international rescue would utilise in safely stopping a runaway tram.0
-
Friday morning is expected to be -2 at 08:00 but i will not be aware of it as i will be in London for a few days.
But the shop has been busy selling and fitting these.
Not long till I have to do the same to the car and Van.
Next update will be Sunday evening...."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

That Focus is lovely. Is that the new 'Project' for 2010?0
-
nope there are a few of them.
my projects will just be rehashes of current rides and may be a fun commuter."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
Parktools :?:SheldonBrown0 -
Sorry Nick, I thought that Focus had a bike coming out called the 'Project', not what your winter projects might be, but now that you've mentioned them, what have you got planned?0

Ah, the frame is the Buster.
and i think the build was a Sweden only one."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
Parktools :?:SheldonBrown0 -
Yeah, I can't find many details on it. Looks like fun though, my kinda thing.0
-
Ok then the "Kart"
it is basically a crash test dummy for calibrating/testing the electronics in ABS/emergency braking and other electronic safety systems in wheeled vehicles.
you drive the car/lorry etc into the Orange bit at up-to 50kph.
It might get a power source sometime in the future."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
