which turbo trainer?

can anyone recomend the best turbo trainer for under 200 quid

    Kurt Kinetic. Just solid engineering and the quietest and most natural turbo I have ever used. Doesn't have variable resistance but believe me the power curve on this machine means that you don't need it.

    My 2nd hand Kurt Kinetic is turning up today... Droool. Was the only one i could find on sale anywhere in the UK. Without seeing it i'd say it's well constructed as the package weighed in at 18kg!

    Get on e-bay and don't pay anymore than £220 for a Tacx Flow - the very best turbo trainer money can buy. Check out October copy of Cycling Plus page 94 and let the pain begin.

    The Tacx flow can be got for £225 (255 euro) brand new from bike24.net, which is about 20% of the UK price.

    The Kurt Kinetic is an American fave where as the Flow seems to be popular choice over here. (europe).
