Tacx Antares roller trainer - tyre wear ?

I picked up a set of the T1000 rollers at the weekend, once past the initial wobbles I managed a decent session of 45 mins. Upon checking the kit after I notice that there is a lot of rubber dust around the rear end and the roller that sits in the middle has two patches of thick rubber that has picked up from my tyres (5p coin in size). I've checked that all is running freely and there doesn't seem to be anything obviously wrong with the surface of the roller. I'm going to swap the rollers around this evening however I'm curious to know if anyone has any experience of this - and how to solve it ?
