DO NOT TOUCH IT!!!!! Looks mega dodgy to me
If you are looking for an affordable and good full carbon frame try the likes of Planet X http://www.planet-x-warehouse.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_Frames_23.html0 -
Can anyone tell me what a "normal" range of weight for a carbon frame would be? looking at the ebay one, it seems dodgy, but is apparently only 390 grams. The Planet X ones are about 1.0-1.2kg. That sounds a lot for a frame, but am I wrong?0
-
What sort of budget do you have all in and are you totally set on full carbon?0
-
The BB area of the carbon frame in the pic looks just like that of a cervelo frame, not sure of the name of it though.0

I bought one back in March and built it with Campag Veloce groupset and its is great have not had any problems with the frame, handles like a dream and weighs in at under 8 kilos. I have been riding between 50-100 miles per week and taken it to the Alps in Italy and France this summer. By the way it is delivered from China in under a week. I would put a picture up but do not know how![/url]0

The fork is 390g not the whole frame.
'Normal' weight range is about 900g-1200g I suppose but this is also dependent on size...0 -
Cheers, didn't think I'd read it properly!0

Fair play, I stand corrected in that case.0 -

Anyone know what frame this is then? Is it a Cervelo?More problems but still living....0

By all accounts it is a Kuota, China make thousands of frames and these are excess stock being sold cheap. There are extensive posts on an American forum re building up these frames.

Doesn't quite look like any of the Kuota frames. Not far off the Kharma or Kredo of a couple of years back, but not quite the same either.More problems but still living....0 -

Must be an older Kuota then , as it doesn't have the integrated seatpost.0

I don't think its an 08 Kharma, its definitely not an 07 (got one of those) and doesn't look like an 07 or 08 Kredo.More problems but still living....0

£214 for a full Carbon Frame & £42 P&P sounds like a blinding deal.
It looks like it will be stiff enough in the BB department, forks look good.
Comes with two Carbon Bottle Cages.
Seeing their feedback the negatives seem insignificant, like some twat that complains that one cage weighs 23g and the other 27g, when in reality they add up to the claimed weight anyway.0 -
CRC do pretty cheap carbon frames : not as cheap but still under £500

Anything sub 1kg is seriously light for a frame.
As a comparison, my 2003 Trek 59000 OCLV carbon frame and fork weights are as follows:
Frame, inc headset cups and mech hanger 1176g
Forks inc lower headset race and bearing 366g
and these were among the lightest on the market at that point.
The price looks pretty decent for what seems a decent enough frame. The US thread has lots of positive comments too.Commute: Langster -Singlecross - Brompton S2-LX

Looks a bit like my Ribble Deda frame
Not trying to burst your bubble in any way but you've got the Sportive model, haven't you?
Just wanted to mention that those frames are not in fact made by Dedacciai, but by a company called Pedalforce.0 -

Surley pedalforce is the brand ? ie pedalforce buy these frames and brand them, as do ribble, and others, ok they may not buy this frame, but they don't manufacturer - they buy and badge.0 -

No I don't think that is quite right. See here:

They don't appear to be just buying them and branding them in the same way as Ribble Cycles. They claim to 'supply direct' which implies they have the monoply on the sale of these frames. They also offer a 5 year warranty where Ribble don't. Wonder why.0 -

with regards to the original post on this thread i am fairly sure i seen someone riding one of these around Leadhills area of scotland. At the time i was taken with the look of the bike but figured it was a repainted frame. it looked like a lovely bike and seeing this i'll keep an eye out for the guy and ask as at this price i'd be tempted to buy a frame and forks.0 -

taiwan? so why did i have to send my fork to the manufacturers in China for inspection after i found a crack in the steerer tube? It could be that the text is old and has not been updated to reflect changes made in sourcing there frame. Im pretty sure i have seen other people selling frames that appear to look the same as the Pedalforce RS2
To be fair to pedalforce they were very helpfull and sent me a replacement fork after i emailed them proof of postage. I have been very impressed with the frame and would buy from them again.
Btw the munufacturers were Xpace Industrial.0 -

Not quite right, I'm afraid.
Ribble get SOME of their frames from Dedacciai.
The Sportive model frame is NOT one of them.
Why don't you ask them next time you are in the shop?0
