I'm definitely still coming so will see you guys at 9:30, same place as last time. I don't have the route in my Garmin this time though so will be relying on you, Roger :)

I live locally so much like the surrey lanes at worse I know what direction towns etc should be.

But I did a recy of the route a while back and seemed fine so shouldn't be a issue.

Awesome ride. My computer showed 65.77 miles when I pulled up at the front door, knocking my previous furthest of 44 miles into a cocked hat.

Outstanding lasagne too. Huge thanks everyone and chapeau to Roger for organising it. Looking forward to the next one.

Yes, thanks for another great day out on the bike today guys and thank you Roger for being Mother Hen  Brilliant fun. Especially amusing to see Biondino having a shot of my little bike on the common!

108km on my computer when I got to my friend's bbq (good look arriving straight from the ride  ) Thankfully she lent me a change of clothes.

    Maps? Road signs?

  • glad people enjoyed the ride, Hopefully i wasn't too mother hen.....maybe take a route to box hill next time? as it's one of the mecca's for bikes in the surrey lanes. lots of bike porn.

Sounds good to me, long as you don't mind waiting for me at the top :)

Realised that 65 miles means I've now done my first metric century. Woohoo.

I'm not sure what my max milage is I guess 70/80 miles, I should do a london-brighton-london at some point.

any way box hill has cafe, and one can time your self up the hill, I'm normally not quick up so around the 10 min mark, I'd do better up short and savage.

but the tea/coffee is okay and they do cake though the cafe really isn't very good but the location is.3408377389_9c23e2fca2.jpg
