Hi
At around june time I was doing 10m tts at around 24:30. Now I just did one with similar conditions in 25:30. Between this I have done quite alot of road cycling. long and short distance. I have been doing atleast 2 10m tts a week with a 2 longer rides a week and at least one ride with intervals. Before I did my best tt on a night with average conditions I did a lot of turbo training and intervals pretty much every night because I didn't have that long.
What has happened to me? Why have I got slower.
I have a big 10 mile tt on the 12th of september. How can I save and aim to be on my best form for that?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rest. Do some easy rides. Hopefully you are already taking a good protein shake after each hard session already to aid recovery. If not, start.

+1 you're knackered at the end of a long hard season. To peak for 12th sept, have an easy week now (til 22nd aug), then back to normal for 2 weeks (til 5th sept), then an easy week again and you'll be fresh for the 12th. Also be sure to get good sleep, and minimise stress at work etc.

You might just also have had a bad night, it happens sometimes. Don't get too worried about 1 performance, if you have a string of them it is different.

I would say as above though, perhaps a bit of rest, the body will not adapt if you don't let it recover. Also if you are targetting a 10m TT, then drop some of the endurance stuff, and focus on quality intervals, I would do these on a turbo personally. If you want to go out for a ride, just do it at a very easy pace, and use it as a recovery ride.
