What about your usernames ?
... I added the 'man' when someone on a poker website had already picked the username 'mothy'........now I seem to have so many followers that I have to use 'Mothymanic' to get a unique username.....0 -

If you've never played Battlefield 1942 on PC you probably won't get it. If you have, you'll appreciate how witty it is. No honest, it is

Abbreviated nickname given to me years ago by a good friend at work who, time after time used to fall for my shaggy dog style yarns. Shortened because HonestTidyHumorous Al wouldn't fit. Oh yes, and my name's Al."The only absolute statement is that everything is relative" - anon0

Check the avatar image: the village of Muchalls, just South of Aberdeen.
Why?
Back in the 80's we had an informal riding group on mountainbikes & someones brother lived there, so we took the name "Muchalls Moonty Bikers" as our moniker.0 -
I'm an avid supporter of Warrington Wolves Rugby League club. During the week I'm an ordinary working guy, at the weekend I change from "man to wolf" - simples!0

I took it from the Sicillian outlaw after reading the book "The Sicillian" by Mario Puzo, but I spelt it wrong. Have used it for years on various sites. I even used to get called Guilli by people instead of Allan0

I went through a particularly good run of 'wind' in work, earning cult status for a short while. Then one of the boys took it a stage further and lit his 'output', ending my five minutes of fame. The nickname remains to this day tho, even though I'm told my farts smell like strawberries.Det. Sgt. George Carter: Do you know what, Jack? You're full of sh!t.
Det. Insp. Jack Regan: I thought it was about time you made an intellectual contribution to this debate.

Look at a map of Cardiff, Splott is there! Comes from Splottlands, old area going back hundreds of years, I believe. Hey, Shirley Bassey lived in Portmanmoor Road, Splott and went to Moorland Rd jnr school, Splott. Look for Tiger Bay on the map, it doesn't exist!
Romantic clap-trap. Splott thro-and-thro. Her user name would be Splottgirl...
Also well know BBC reporter is a Splott Boy too. Can't recall which one, but is from Pearl Street. Tony Blackburn once described it as "the sound you get when you drop an egg into a bucket - SPLOTT!"
Frank Hennesy used it in his song, "Cardiff born, Cardiff bred" with the line "they'll build a little plot in Splott, in memory of me."0 -
I have always hated picking usernames as someone always seems to have the one i want ( perhaps me just being unimaginative). Anyway im quite partial to watching Stargate SG1 so i thought id try teulk (not the same spelling) who is a caracter from the series. I use this user name all the time now under two spellings, teulk (my spelling) and teal'c (correct spelling) as no one ever has them.Boardman Team 09 HT
