i have been out of cycling(sport in general) for a number of weeks now and will be for a further few weeks due to a back injury. I have been feeling my fitness getting worse and have started to just feel fat as i am putting weight on .
I was wondering if there was a way in keeping my weight down and keeping my fitness levels up .
All help will be much appreciated.

Well speak to a your GP/ Physio about what exercise you can do and make sure you do it regularly if nothing else walking should help.
Re putting on weight eat less. (if you are not riding you have to limit the calories consumed a mistake lots of us make - I do every year!)
Simple really? When I see an adult on a bicycle, I do not despair for the future of the human race. ~H.G. Wells0 -
You are a beginner right. I don't think you should give advice to other beginners then as in your other post. Furthermore, the reason you are not able to ride is simple...overtraining. Classic beginners mistake.
If this is true ( ) then you should dramatically cut it down.futureyellowjersey wrote:just to mention i'm 16 and currently do 40 mile rides 2 days a week, 2 interval sessions and a longer 70 - 90 miles one day , and i will often go to racesat weekendsContador is the Greatest0
