Despite all the rain recently, Whites Level was fantastic this afternoon - a few puddles here and there but no real mud to speak of. Not a drop fell during out ride either so a double bonus!
You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.

Riding about a month ago in Wales and we stopped for a moment in the shock of seeing a red circle in the sky!!!! But dont worry it was only there for a few seconds before the rain continued :P
Hey 1 good thing though, u only need 1 set of tyres! Now thats what i call money saving methods.

Was out yesterday near Maridalsvan north of Oslo, I was there before in early June so I wanted to show a mate of mine some of the sections of trail I'd done that time. What I didn't figure on was that some of those sections of trail in June were in fact dried out streams, and now, after a few weeks of rain, they are not. Was a good, challenging but very wet ride. Then the skies opened just after we decided to head home, so the bike was immaculate by the time I got home. Dry off the moving bits and a bit of lube, job done.

Went to Afan today and did White's in the pouring rain. Such a good ride! It was great just getting out and refusing to let the rain dampen our fun and while a wet arse and wet feet were nasty, blasting around White's and splashing through the puddles more than made up for it! :D

My bike sounded ROUGH by the end though
  • Just think of it as good training for winter but instead of being really cold and wet you are just really wet. If it was really dry you would go to fast and the ground would be hard and hurt when you come off.

Forecast seems to be good for the next week or so.

Went out last night for a quick ride, got to the car park, opened the boot, realised the front wheel was missing. Drove home, picked up wheel from next doors garden, drove back.

Had an ok hour or so, but it was in the clouds and could barely see where i was going.
