I didn't buy the jacket as I tend to boil in the bag with any kind of second layer. I used the long sleeved jersey on a 1am ride back from Regents park on saturday night and it was spot on, so I reckon it'll be great for autumn and spring mornings. The zip is a bit dodgy though.

  • I agree the shoes arent perfect for distance cycling, but reckon they're pretty good for local commuting if you want something to wear to go shopping in that still takes cleats. In fact I think the lack of stiffness will actually be a bonus if you're going to be traipsing about in the supermarket and want some walkable shoes that can pass for trainers, or wanting to take the kids for a little ride that will include a walkabout. They're also quite thickly padded, like trainers, which makes them suitable for winterwear, as long as you don't get them wet! The tongue is wider than some previous ones I've seen which have been far too narrow. For £17 the only reason I didn't get a pair was that they don't have any arch support, which I need, though I suppose you could always get an aftermarket insole.
