Garmin Edge 605 Handheld GPS

The screen for my Garmin Edge 605 Handheld GPS has cracked after it dropped off my bike mounting. Garmin tell me I can't get it repaired and will have to swap it for one of their reconditioned models for a cost of £81.57. Seems ridiculous. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement screen from. They only click in to place.

    Is it definitely not in warranty?

    It wouldn't be a warranty issue if you dropped something.

    I know that, but if it just fell off the bike mount, it seems like the bike mount has broke as they are well known for this, they have a design flaw.
