routes near Basingstoke

I have recently moved to Basingstoke from North Yorkshire and its killing me are there any routes that dont involve miles and miles or road riding for 500m or dull of road, please heeeeeeeeelp im going mad.

I gues it depends on how far you are willing to travel.

try the south downs way it starts in winchester and goes to eastbourne, its amazing but very very hilly.
