I have recently moved to Basingstoke from North Yorkshire and its killing me are there any routes that dont involve miles and miles or road riding for 500m or dull of road, please heeeeeeeeelp im going mad.

I gues it depends on how far you are willing to travel.
Going south, you have the New Forest area - try Avon Tyrell (http://www.britishtrails.co.uk/v2/index ... &Itemid=31) for more info
Going north you have Swinley Forest (http://www.gorrick.com/swinley/)
or Surrey Hills

try the south downs way it starts in winchester and goes to eastbourne, its amazing but very very hilly.0
