Hmmmm.
OK, I know I occasionally suggest people consider my Training Plans, but at least I constructively contribute to the forum. This full page ad is a little over the top isn't it?
Examples of what can do this include effective training and improved aerodynamics.
"Lemond wedges are the answer "
No - Lemond wedges are one possible solution for improving one's bike fit and leg tracking but only if someone really has a problem in the first place, and there are several other possible solutions before a Lemond wedge need be considered.
I mean learning how to take my efficiency to levels beyond those that have ever been measured in the history of exercise physiology would be a really fascinating read.
Don't get me wrong - I am a strong proponent of having a bike well fitted to a rider but please use credible information to promote such services.

Computrainer's Spinscan really should be called Spinscam. It's a shame Racermate promote that feature because it devalues an otherwise excellent product.gronaldo wrote:Sound Coaching specialise in dynamic bike fitting using the computrainer spinscan
A CT cannot "increases your cycling power by 20 to 30% and your speed by 2 to 4 MPH" .gronaldo wrote:The CompuTrainer provides the most interesting indoor bike experience yet created. It increases your cycling power by 20 to 30% and your speed by 2 to 4 MPH.

This is a classic "create an imaginary problem" scenario designed to fool the gullible or ill-informed lay person. I'm sorry but such claims that 96% of people have such a problem with their cycling shoes is just bunkum.gronaldo wrote:Approximately 96% of the population has what is known as a forefoot tilt. This is where the front of your foot is not flat but rather has an angle or tilt. Modern clip-in pedal systems do not accommodate this tilt, instead forcing the foot into an unnatural flat position.
The body compensates for this with a lateral (side to side) motion of the knee during the pedal cycle. The result of increased lateral knee movement over time will cause pain and injury in the knee and any of the above symptoms. Lemond wedges are the answer and used by many pro cyclists including nicole cooke.

Wow! Can you back up such claims with evidence?gronaldo wrote:* Efficiency Drills Session on Computrainer 1 Hour £60
i generally see efficiency gains of 20-25%
